Regenerate projections after material input changes.

Start on the Financial Plan Page

The Financial Plan page is where Funderly collects your financial inputs and turns them into projections. If your plan includes financial access, you can work from a pre-generation setup view and then move into the full generated view once projections exist.

If your current plan does not include financial access, Funderly shows the upgrade wall instead of the editor.

Use Quick Estimate to Generate the First Draft

If you do not have projections yet, open Financial Data and enter the essential numbers first. Funderly is designed to get you to a usable first draft quickly rather than forcing a complete spreadsheet before anything appears.

Once the required inputs are saved, Funderly generates the first projection set for you.

Use the Right Editing Surface for the Right Kind of Change

After generation, Financial Data gives you multiple ways to refine the plan. Quick Estimate is faster for broad updates, Detailed Breakdown is better for more precise cost and revenue structure, and Sales Assumptions handles conversion and volume logic.

You can also adjust growth rates and change the revenue model type where supported by the page.

  • Quick Estimate for fast top-level updates.
  • Detailed Breakdown for more precise revenue and cost structure.
  • Sales Assumptions for customer volume and conversion logic.
  • Growth rates and revenue type for plan-shaping changes.

Saving Inputs and Regenerating Projections

Saving financial inputs updates the stored financial data first. Some flows generate immediately, while post-generation editing is designed to let you save changes and then deliberately regenerate when you are ready.

This separation is useful because it lets you make multiple edits before spending another generation run.
