Approval activates the plan and rejection keeps the receipt history visible.

Manual Payment Methods Do Not Activate Instantly

PayPal subscriptions activate immediately after approval, but bank transfer and BML Swipe follow a receipt-review flow. Those methods create a pending payment record first and the plan activates only after review.

This gives Funderly a way to match the transfer to the correct account, organization, and requested plan before paid access is turned on.

What to Submit After a Transfer

For bank transfer, upload proof of payment from checkout after completing the transfer. Funderly accepts image files and PDFs for the receipt upload, and the optional note field can include a transfer reference or matching detail.

For BML Swipe, the checkout flow can also create a pending review record after you confirm the transfer. In both cases, adding your account email in the payment reference helps the team match the payment faster.

  • Supported proof types are image files and PDFs.
  • The upload limit is 5MB per receipt file.
  • The selected plan and billing period are stored with the receipt request.

What Happens During Review

Once submitted, the receipt moves into a pending review state. The review process checks the payment details, confirms the requested plan, and then updates the subscription for the organization behind the account.

If the payment is approved, the subscription is activated and Funderly sends a plan-activation notification. If the payment is rejected, the receipt history still remains available so the billing trail is not lost.

Where to Check the Outcome

Open Dashboard Settings and go to Subscription & Billing to review your current plan, billing period, payment provider, and receipt history. This is the best place to confirm whether the manual payment is still pending, already active, or needs attention.

If your plan is approved, newly available features should start appearing on the relevant idea pages without rebuilding the workspace from scratch.
