Your Workspace Stays, Your Access Expands
When you upgrade, Funderly does not replace or reset the ideas you already created. The workspace stays intact and the plan change updates what you are entitled to access, export, and generate.
That means an upgrade is additive. It unlocks more of the product around the same underlying idea instead of forcing you to start over.
Some Newly Unlocked Sections Can Generate Automatically
After a plan upgrade, Funderly can start generating sections that are now available to you but were never created before. This happens in the background for eligible idea sections after activation.
The goal is to help the upgraded workspace feel fuller quickly, rather than making you manually revisit every page just to unlock it.
- Existing content is not thrown away during this process.
- Only newly entitled sections that do not already exist are eligible.
- Generation still depends on having usable wizard answers for the idea.
Financials Still Need a Manual Setup Step
Financial access is different from other unlocked sections. Even after an upgrade gives you access to financials, you still need to enter or confirm financial basics before projections can be generated.
This is intentional because the financial layer depends on user-provided assumptions that cannot be inferred safely from the rest of the workspace.
How to Know the Upgrade Applied
Funderly shows plan-change feedback through the subscription area, notifications, and newly available features on idea pages. If you upgraded for exports, deeper analysis, or financial access, those features should appear where they belong once activation completes.
If a section is still missing after an upgrade, check whether it needs manual setup first or whether the idea itself still lacks enough input context.
